The meeting invited a chief reviewer and 12 authoritative industry experts to form a review panel to examine the draft, which was primarily compiled by CCCC Second Highway Consultants Co., Ltd.
The compilation team provided a detailed report on the preliminary work of the Code, the drafting rationale for its provisions, the collection, incorporation, and revision of earlier feedback, the main revisions in the draft for review, and the coordination with other standards and specifications. The team further elaborated on the importance of adapting the Code to new technological developments, as well as the requirement for performance-based design to align with higher-level standards, ensuring the Code's content is forward-looking, scientific, and operable.
