The agreement, announced on July 6, 2026, at MWC Shanghai 2026, is a strategic move by both companies to expand broadband access for residential and enterprise customers, supporting the acceleration of the nation's digital transformation. The collaboration focuses on developing a broader and more efficient broadband network infrastructure capable of meeting the growing demand for digital connectivity in Indonesia.
In addition to expanding the coverage of FWA and FTTH services, the two companies will explore the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in network operations to enhance service quality and infrastructure management efficiency. Liu Sen, President of ZTE Indonesia, stated that ZTE's global experience in broadband network implementation is a key asset in supporting MoraRepublic's business expansion in Indonesia. He said ZTE brings experience in large-scale FWA and FTTH implementation in international markets, based on proven implementation methodologies that can be adapted to the technical and operational needs of each project. Liu Sen added that the combination of ZTE's technical expertise with MoraRepublic's operational capabilities in Indonesia is expected to improve broadband access levels while delivering a more scalable and long-term sustainable network implementation model.
