Wedoany.com Report-Apr. 25, Black & Veatch, a U.S.-based engineering and construction firm specializing in energy infrastructure, has selected Marinetrans, a Norwegian logistics provider, to manage project logistics for two floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) vessel construction projects. The contracts, covering 2025 to 2027, involve comprehensive logistics services for the FLNG newbuilds, including transportation of critical components, heavy-lift deliveries, supply chain coordination, and global on-site support.

In a related development, Black & Veatch divested its stake in the FLNG Hilli to Golar LNG in December 2024. The Hilli is currently under contract with Perenco in Cameroon until July 2026, after which it is slated to relocate to Argentina for a 20-year project with Southern Energy, a consortium of natural gas producers.
