Copper One Discovers Sample with 10.5% Copper and 188 g/t Silver at Nevada Project

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Copper One Resources Corp. has collected high-grade copper samples during underground breccia mapping in historic adits at its flagship Majuba Mountain copper-silver-gold project in Pershing County, Nevada. Sample MHR-793 returned 10.5% copper and 188 ppm silver.

Sample MHR-793 and adjacent sample MHR-794 were both collected from oxidized copper, described as azurite in magmatic-hydrothermal intrusive breccia with a matrix of coarse spongy and radial tourmaline. The 2026 breccia mapping program collected samples from 15 locations to characterize breccia textures. Also presented are eight rock samples collected in 2016, with copper grades ranging from 0.39% to 1.6%.

David Greenway, President and CEO of the Company, stated that Majuba Mountain has entered a new phase, with the first round of core hole drilling designed by ExploreTech AI currently underway. Recent underground mapping has confirmed breccia-type copper mineralization and its relationship to surface structures, and identified a previously underreported north-northwest trending breccia corridor. The spring 2026 surface geological mapping program focused on identifying exposed tourmaline breccia bodies, which are believed to be associated with high-grade copper mineralization, while underground mapping of historic adits confirmed the same breccia types. The project plans to drill up to nine holes at five drill sites, with site 26PDH-1 located beneath high-grade rock samples in the adit and designed to test the southern extension of hydrothermal-magmatic breccia containing a tourmaline matrix. Such breccia containing high-grade copper and silver has been intersected in previous drill holes: hole MHB-2 returned 1.41% copper and 97.6 ppm silver at 44.5 meters depth (including 28 feet grading 0.74% copper and 120.8 ppm silver); hole MHB-32 returned 0.33% copper and 16.97 ppm silver at 115.7 meters depth (including 12.2 meters grading 1.36% copper and 13.33 ppm silver).

Majuba Mountain is Copper One's flagship copper, silver, and gold exploration project located in Nevada, USA. The claim block covers approximately 9,684 acres, located about 113 kilometers southwest of Winnemucca and 251 kilometers northeast of Reno. The project is accessible via interstate highways and well-maintained county roads, benefiting from existing infrastructure including roads, power, and water. Majuba Mountain is a historic producing mine with approximately 89,395 feet of drilling completed to date, establishing a substantial exploration database.
