The conference focused on copper smelting enterprises, processing enterprises, and trading companies, discussing topics such as policy interpretation for the recycled copper industry, domestic recycled copper smelting conditions, overseas recycled copper resource status, technological innovation in recycled copper, and resource matching, exploring the green circular development path of the recycled copper industry.

On the morning of July 9, the Recycled Copper Anode and Processing Supply-Demand Exchange Meeting was held first. At the meeting, Zhang Ru, Tax and Business Partner at Deloitte China, interpreted the "Announcement of the State Administration of Taxation on Matters Concerning the Collection and Management of Individual Income Tax," analyzing topics such as industry tax collection dynamics and tax risks, as well as challenges in implementing "reverse invoicing."

During the supply-demand exchange meeting, the "2026 Mysteel High-Quality Recycled Anode Copper Supplier Award Ceremony" was also held.

Peng Bo, Researcher at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation under the Ministry of Commerce, delivered a speech titled "Interpretation of the 15th Five-Year Plan and Analysis of Development Opportunities for the Recycled Copper Industry," interpreting the core content of the 15th Five-Year Plan and analyzing the domestic and international macroeconomic situation, suggesting that enterprises should seize opportunities to promote high-quality industry development.

Ma Shuai, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation in the Renewable Resources Industry, shared insights on "Global Copper Mine Supply Chain Restructuring and Pathways to Improve Recycled Copper Raw Material Utilization," introducing the uneven distribution of global copper resources, production changes in various countries, and the improvement of domestic smelting capacity. He noted that China's recycled copper industry has a considerable scale but faces numerous challenges in competition, capacity utilization, and trade barriers.

Pan Qingsong, Deputy Director of the Commodity Trading Department at Ningbo University of Finance and Economics, presented "Development Directions of Recycled Copper Policies in Major Countries and Future Import Situation Analysis," introducing policy directions for recycled copper in major countries and changes in the domestic import situation. He believes that imports face challenges such as resources and trade policies, requiring enterprises to adopt multiple strategies to cope.

Yu Longsheng, Technical Director of Hefei Taihe Intelligent Technology Group Co., Ltd., shared insights on "AI Sorting Technology Innovation Empowering the Value of the Recycling Industry," introducing the application of AI vision technology in the industry chain and providing various sorting solutions.

Li Yaoyao, Nonferrous Research Director at Xinhu Futures Research Institute, delivered a keynote speech titled "Financial Tools Safeguarding Recycled Copper Enterprises," introducing price risks faced by enterprises in raw materials and inventory, and explaining the application of derivative tools such as hedging, warehouse receipt pledging, and structured trade to help enterprises reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Zeng Jianhui, Copper Analyst at Shanghai Ganglian E-commerce Co., Ltd., presented "Recent Operations and Outlook of the Domestic Recycled Copper Market Under the Impact of Bill Issues," elaborating on the industry's operations under current policy background and tax supervision, and expressing an optimistic view of the market outlook.
