en.Wedoany.com Reported - Indian photovoltaic module manufacturer Vikram Solar has commissioned a new manufacturing facility in Gangaikondan, Tamil Nadu, and has rolled out its first batch of Hypersol TOPCon G12R modules, with a rated power of 615-640 Wp and a module efficiency of 23.69%.

Spanning 600,000 square feet, the facility is equipped with automated manufacturing and digital production systems, enabling real-time monitoring, automated quality inspection, and end-to-end module traceability. The plant is expected to create employment opportunities for over 1,500 skilled professionals.

Vikram Solar stated that its cumulative global module shipments surpassed 10 GW earlier this year. According to the company's growth roadmap, it plans to establish 9 GW of solar cell manufacturing capacity by fiscal year 2027, expand by an additional 3 GW by fiscal year 2028, and build 12 GW of wafer and ingot manufacturing capacity by fiscal year 2029-30.
