en.Wedoany.com Reported - Jia Chunqu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China National Administration of Coal Geology (CNACG), led a delegation to Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous County in Gansu Province on July 10. They held a symposium on central designated assistance work with the local Party committee and government, and conducted in-depth research at assistance industry bases. Wu Yuebiao, Member of the CNACG Party Committee and Deputy Director, participated in the activities. Local leaders including He Jingzhong, Secretary of the Zhangjiachuan County Party Committee; Ma Jie, County Mayor; Liu Runbin, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee; and Yang Longfei, Deputy County Mayor, attended the symposium and research sessions respectively.
At the symposium, Jia Chunqu stated that the new Party Committee of CNACG attaches great importance to the designated assistance work for Zhangjiachuan County, continuously increasing investment in areas such as geothermal heating, industrial cultivation, consumption assistance, livelihood security, smart livestock farming, and smart transportation, achieving new progress. Jia Chunqu conveyed General Secretary Xi Jinping's recent important instructions on normalized assistance, pointing out that this year marks the first year of the "15th Five-Year Plan" and also the first year of implementing normalized assistance, requiring the earnest fulfillment of assistance responsibilities. He noted that CNACG will adhere to local conditions and precise policy implementation, leveraging the industrial and industry advantages of central enterprises to focus on cultivating characteristic leading industries, stimulating endogenous development momentum, and promoting a shift in assistance work from "quantitative accumulation" to "qualitative leap."
Jia Chunqu put forward eight specific requirements, including: based on Zhangjiachuan's reality as an ethnic region and ecological functional area, leveraging CNACG's advantages in geological technology, policy information, and human resources to maintain assistance intensity; promoting the application of geological big data and "AI+" in smart agriculture and smart livestock farming to help Zhangjiachuan cultivate new productive forces; continuously increasing support for the cultivation and sales of characteristic industries such as "Zhangjiachuan Red Flower Cattle" and Wulongtou (a local edible plant), enhancing agricultural product innovation and marketing promotion; expanding the application scope of western geothermal heating and geothermal cultural tourism, improving quality and reducing costs through technology and management; strengthening village-based assistance forces, resolutely opposing formalism, and leveraging the role of first secretaries stationed in villages; increasing assistance for Zhangjiachuan-registered university graduates in employment within the CNACG system, broadening employment channels; assisting Zhangjiachuan County in connecting with relevant ministries and central enterprises regarding investment attraction and project implementation, seeking policy and financial support; and exploring new models of central-local cooperation under normalized assistance with Zhangjiachuan County.
He Jingzhong, on behalf of the Zhangjiachuan County Party Committee and County Government, expressed gratitude for the assistance from CNACG. He stated that CNACG's assistance projects in areas such as industrial empowerment, consumption-based agricultural support, talent cultivation, labor export, and infrastructure improvement have gradually addressed local development shortcomings and strengthened the foundation for preventing a return to poverty. He expressed hope that CNACG would continue to support the upgrade of Zhangjiachuan's geographic information visualization platform, the promotion of characteristic agricultural products, the exploration of county-level mineral resources, and the implementation of key projects. Zhangjiachuan County will proactively coordinate to ensure the efficient implementation of assistance projects.
After the meeting, Jia Chunqu and his team also conducted field research at the Zhangjiachuan County Public Training Base, Honglv Food, Xingyue Food, Hengxiang Food, and other enterprises, as well as the Wulongtou tea production workshop. They also inspected the operation of the geothermal-assisted rural revitalization demonstration projects at Malu Town Central Health Center and Malu Town Central Primary School, which are CNACG assistance projects, and visited the first secretaries stationed in villages.
Relevant departments, townships, and enterprise leaders from Zhangjiachuan County, as well as heads of the CNACG Operation Management Department (Rural Revitalization Department), Meihang Group, and Hydrogeology Bureau Group, participated in the activities.
