Acwa Bids for Bahrain Hidd Water Project, EGA Restarts 89 Electrolytic Cells

The plant's committed net contract capacity is 11,364 cubic meters per hour, aiming to strengthen Bahrain's potable water supply system to meet the growing demands of residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) has initiated the restart of 89 electrolytic cells at its Al Taweelah plant in Abu Dhabi, continuing efforts to restore production capacity at this globally significant aluminum production site. Maintenance and utility restoration are proceeding concurrently, but it may take up to a year for molten aluminum output to return to pre-incident levels. Meanwhile, EGA's Jebel Ali plant is operating at full capacity, and alternative export routes along with overseas inventory are helping the company maintain supply until the recovery plan is completed.
