Scotia Metals of Canada Identifies 5 Spodumene Boulders Zones
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 27, Scotia Metals announced the results of its initial surface reconnaissance program at its wholly-owned Acadia Lithium Project, identifying 5 spodumene boulder zones at the Green Wolf target. The 32 boulder samples returned lithium oxide grades ranging from 1.00% to 3.40%, with 7 samples grading between 2.00% and 3.40%.

The 5 boulder zones are distributed over an area of approximately 3 km by 1 km, with most boulders aligned along a north-northeast trending structural direction, consistent with the regional structure and the strike of the adjacent Brazil Lake pegmatites. Coarse-grained spodumene crystals are visible in the samples, and the boulders are generally angular with a low degree of weathering.
Green Wolf is located less than 8 km up-ice from the Brazil Lake deposit. The documented transport distance of spodumene boulders at Brazil Lake typically ranges from 50 m to less than 1 km. Based on this, Scotia Metals believes the Green Wolf boulders may originate from undetermined LCT (lithium-cesium-tantalum) pegmatite bedrock within its claims, although no drilling has yet been conducted to verify any of the targets.
Government lake sediment geochemistry, geophysical structures and radiometric anomalies, high-resolution LiDAR, and till sampling results have collectively delineated multiple first-order and second-order exploration targets at Green Wolf. These grade results are from selective boulder grab samples; no bedrock mineralization drill data are available, and no mineral resource estimate has been established for the Acadia Project.
The Acadia Project comprises 43 exploration licenses and 2,320 claims covering 37,268 hectares, controlling over 80 km of prospective LCT pegmatite strike on both sides of Brazil Lake. The project is adjacent to paved roads, approximately 14 km from the power grid, and about a 15-minute drive from the Port of Yarmouth, with site conditions supporting year-round drilling.
Scotia Metals is conducting detailed till sampling within the 5 boulder zones, with ground geophysical surveys planned for the next phase. The Company plans to release its initial ranked drill targets following the completion of target definition work, along with the preliminary reconnaissance drilling plan and implementation timeline.
