en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Satellite Communications Working Group of the Industrial Internet Industry Alliance was officially established in Beijing. Under the guidance of the Information and Communications Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the working group was initiated by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and jointly established with over 60 units, including China Satellite Network Group Co., Ltd., China Spacetime Information Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Yuanxin Satellite Technology Co., Ltd., China Satellite Communications Co., Ltd., China Academy of Space Technology, Beijing Guodian Gaoke Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Spacetime Daoyu Technology Co., Ltd., China Telecom Group Co., Ltd., China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd., and China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd. It brings together industrial forces such as satellite enterprises, telecom operators, equipment manufacturers, terminal companies, financial institutions, and research institutes.

The chairman of the Satellite Communications Working Group is Li Xiayu, Chief Engineer of the Technology and Standards Research Institute of CAICT. The vice chairmen include Du Jinming, Deputy Director of the Market Department of China Satellite Network Group; Liu Qingjun, Deputy General Manager of China Spacetime Information Group; Li Guotong, CTO of Yuanxin Satellite; Shen Yufei, Deputy General Manager of China Satellite Communications and Deputy Director of the Satellite Application Innovation Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation; Chen Dong, Deputy Director of the Communications and Navigation Department of the Fifth Academy of Aerospace; Lyu Qiang, Chairman of Guodian Gaoke; Wang Yang, CEO of Spacetime Daoyu; Bo Xiaotang, General Manager of the Market Operations Department of China Telecom Satellite Company; Liu Liang, Deputy Director of the Satellite and Ground Research Institute of China Mobile Research Institute; and Shi Yu, Chief Researcher of the Research Institute of China Unicom.

The working group aims to build an industrial exchange and cooperation platform, accelerate breakthroughs in key core technologies of satellite communications, promote innovative development of technologies such as Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), and jointly cultivate an open and shared satellite communication industry ecosystem, contributing to the construction of a manufacturing powerhouse, aerospace powerhouse, network powerhouse, and Digital China. Going forward, the Satellite Communications Working Group will promote collaborative innovation among industry, academia, research, and application, facilitate the high-quality development of China's satellite communication industry, and welcome interested units to join.
