Chen Wenjian inspected advanced rescue equipment including communication command, flood control and drainage, and drilling rescue systems, observed training exercises such as unmanned reconnaissance and mountain and water rescue, and listened to reports from the Kunming Team and China Railway No.2 Engineering Group. He fully affirmed the team's excellent work style, superb skills, and the practical effectiveness of their high-precision specialized equipment.
Chen Wenjian noted that over the past 15 years, under the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Kunming Team has carried out rescue operations across the country, participating in 80 emergency rescues including tunnel collapses, mud and water surges, earthquakes, floods, and landslides. They have rescued 102 survivors and searched for and evacuated over 500 people, creating a series of successful rescue cases and interpreting the spirit of "pioneer" of China Railway Group in the new era through practical actions. This fully demonstrates that the Kunming Team is a politically conscious, capable, responsible, and compassionate team, representing the corporate values of "Creation, Quality, Brand."
Chen Wenjian emphasized the need to seriously study General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discussions on safety production and emergency management, adhere to the principles of "putting people first and life above all else," shoulder the core function of safety support, coordinate development and safety, leverage advantages in major infrastructure, engineering construction, energy, and transportation, improve the full-chain risk prevention and control system, proactively undertake national strategic tasks such as major disaster accident rescue and public safety emergency support, and safeguard the bottom line of economic and social development safety.
