en.Wedoany.com Reported - Mitsubishi Fuso New Zealand has expanded its national authorized parts and service network, adding two new dealer locations in Auckland and Gisborne.
Transport Diesel & Marine in Onehunga and East Coast Heavy Diesel & Machinery in Awapuni, Gisborne, joined the Mitsubishi Fuso authorized parts and service (2S) dealer network on July 1, extending after-sales support for Fuso truck and bus customers in two key regions.
Torben Freer, General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Mitsubishi Fuso New Zealand, said strengthening the after-sales network is a significant investment in supporting customers.
"Our customers rely on their trucks and buses every day, so convenient access to authorized service and support is crucial, no matter where they operate," Freer said.
"These two new locations are another step in our ongoing commitment to supporting customers long after they take delivery—whether it's routine warranty maintenance, access to genuine parts, or factory-trained technical support, available on demand."
Transport Diesel & Marine has become the latest authorized parts and service dealer, operating from its new facility at 30C Alfred Street in Onehunga. The company has over 40 years of experience in heavy vehicle repair.
Owners Jim Johnstone and Brendon Morron said joining the Fuso 2S dealer network was a natural fit.

"We have built a reputation for quality workmanship and reliable customer service, values that align closely with Mitsubishi Fuso New Zealand," the two said. "We look forward to supporting Fuso customers with our experienced team, providing authorized repairs and genuine parts."
East Coast Heavy Diesel & Machinery has also expanded its partnership with Fuso, adding authorized parts and service support at its Gisborne Awapuni operation, while retaining its existing Fuso dealership in Whakatāne.
Managing Director Scott Hale said the new location will improve support for Fuso operators on the East Coast.
"This allows us to better serve customers on the East Coast, while strengthening the solid relationship we have built with Mitsubishi Fuso New Zealand through our Whakatāne dealership," he said. "We are proud to continue growing with the brand and helping customers keep their trucks on the road."
