The signing ceremony was held on Monday (July 6) in Jakarta, jointly executed by Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini and EDB Managing Director Jermaine Loy. This MoU is one of the business-to-business (B2B) collaborations showcased during the bilateral leaders' meeting between Indonesia and Singapore, reflecting the close partnership between the two countries in driving sustainable digital economic growth in the region. The signing of the MoU facilitates the implementation of various strategic cooperation initiatives between the two nations in shared priority areas such as the digital economy, sustainable infrastructure, and energy transition.

Danantara Investment Management Company Managing Director Stefanus Ade Hadiwidjaja stated that this initiative is considered a strategic step capable of generating both economic and developmental value. When digital infrastructure, green energy, and regional cooperation are integrated, the resulting projects become more competitive, sustainable, and attractive for long-term value creation. This collaboration model will serve as a crucial cornerstone for strengthening Indonesia's position as a regional hub for digital economic growth.
Danantara Asset Management Company Business Division II Managing Director Setyanto Hantoro emphasized that cooperation through the digital infrastructure MoU demonstrates how state-owned enterprises' national assets and capabilities can be coordinated to build a globally competitive business platform. He believes this collaboration not only creates new infrastructure but also opens opportunities for long-term business growth.
Through this partnership, TelkomGroup and EDB will jointly explore the development of low-carbon digital infrastructure to support a regional technology ecosystem utilizing cross-border low-carbon electricity supply, thereby accelerating the energy transition in the region.
Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini stated that this collaboration is a strategic move for Telkom to strengthen Indonesia's position in the regional digital infrastructure value chain. The company believes that the future of the digital economy requires cross-border cooperation that sustainably integrates connectivity, digital infrastructure, and clean energy. Through this partnership, Telkom is ready to provide world-class digital infrastructure, creating added value for both countries while supporting regional digital economic growth.
The signing of this MoU further clarifies Telkom's role as a strategic partner of the government, aiming to strengthen Indonesia's position as a key player in the regional digital ecosystem while promoting the integration of digital infrastructure and green energy as a foundation for future economic growth.
Telkom Director of Strategic Business Development and Portfolio Seno Soemadji stated that this collaboration represents the concrete implementation of Telkom's strategic direction to build a more integrated digital ecosystem at the regional level. Building the Indonesia-Singapore Digital Corridor requires aligning strategic interests in digital infrastructure, green energy, and stakeholder cooperation. Such an initiative is not a spur-of-the-moment effort but a strategic plan gradually established to deliver long-term value for both countries.
Going forward, Telkom will continue to expand strategic collaborations with governments, global partners, and industry players to accelerate the construction of a more integrated, sustainable, and globally competitive digital ecosystem. This initiative is expected to become an important milestone in strengthening the Indonesia-Singapore strategic relationship while opening new investment and cooperation opportunities for regional digital economic development.
