Positioned as a large plug-in hybrid SUV, this model will compete with vehicles such as the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series, Nissan Patrol, and Mitsubishi Pajero. No official announcement has been made regarding its launch in the Australian market. Geely Australia has been asked whether the model will be introduced locally, as it could potentially be the brand's first off-road vehicle in the region next year.

The vehicle measures 5085mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1895mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900mm. These dimensions are similar to those of the BYD Denza B8, positioning them as direct competitors. For reference, the Denza B8 starts at AUD 91,000 (excluding on-road costs) in the Australian market. Geely's off-road vehicle has been confirmed for sale in the UK, which means a right-hand drive version exists, increasing the likelihood of an Australian introduction.

Under the hood, the vehicle offers a choice of a 2.0-liter or 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 120kW and 160kW respectively. The engine is paired with three electric motors, delivering a combined maximum power output of 830kW, significantly surpassing its main competitors. Torque figures have not yet been released.

The Galaxy Battleship is equipped with a 47kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. Depending on the configuration, its pure electric range is 165km, 170km, or 185km (all based on the CLTC standard). The estimated combined range is expected to exceed 1,000 kilometers.

In terms of off-road capability, the vehicle features an approach angle of 30 degrees, a departure angle of 31 degrees, and a ground clearance of 233mm. It comes standard with a rear axle differential lock (located between the two rear motors) and a front tow hook, offering strong off-road potential.

According to platform information released at this year's Beijing Auto Show, the vehicle features dual motors on the rear axle, with the engine and a third motor located on the front axle. There is no mechanical connection between the engine and the rear axle, a layout that differs from traditional four-wheel-drive vehicles or models like the Great Wall Motor Tank 500 and the Shanhai Cannon PHEV. Interior images show seats upholstered in plush material, with soft-touch surfaces elsewhere in the cabin. The gear selector design resembles the throttle control of a jet airliner. These design elements are part of the language showcased by Geely in Beijing.
