en.Wedoany.com Reported - New Murchison Gold has reported a series of high-grade drilling results from its Cloudkicker deposit in Western Australia. CEO Alex Passmore stated that the latest grade control and resource definition drilling is expected to enhance the grade and tonnage of this emerging orebody ahead of a resource estimate update.

Notable intercepts include: 10 meters at 13.61 g/t gold from 44 meters, including 3 meters at 32.17 g/t from 46 meters; 9 meters at 9.31 g/t from 3 meters; and 8 meters at 9.22 g/t from 62 meters. The drilling campaign also yielded exceptionally high individual sample results, including 1 meter at 54.80 g/t gold from 58 meters.

The Cloudkicker deposit is adjacent to the existing Crown Prince open pit but is considered a separate deposit. The latest drilling includes 136 grade control holes totaling 5,497 meters and 30 resource definition holes totaling 2,675 meters. These data confirm shallow high-grade mineralization and increase confidence in Domain 4001, the deposit's main mineralized zone. The company stated that Domain 4001 (which contains the highest grade and largest volume within the deposit) has proven to be more continuous than previously modeled, with new drilling extending the cap mineralization and providing additional data for Domains 4001 to 4005.

Passmore noted that the deposit lies within the company's existing operations, with mineralization extending to the final waste dump design boundary, meaning additional gold ounces can be relatively easily incorporated into the production plan. The deposit's location allows production with minimal additional infrastructure, making it a high-return project. Mining has already commenced, with the first cap ore scheduled for crushing in September 2026.

The latest drilling results will be incorporated into an updated Cloudkicker resource estimate, which will inform revisions to the mine design and open-pit mining plan. Mining at the Cloudkicker deposit has already begun under the approved Crown Prince mining plan, with a conservative estimate that the mine will contribute approximately 20,000 ounces of gold to the company's production plan over the next 12 to 18 months.
