en.Wedoany.com Reported - Tritax Big Box Developments (TBBD) has fully completed the third phase of construction at Symmetry Park Biggleswade, with three new Grade A logistics units officially delivered on July 12, 2026. Located on plots 08, 09, and 10, these units measure 154,500 square feet, 139,500 square feet, and 287,200 square feet respectively, adding a total of 580,700 square feet of high-quality warehousing space to this mature logistics hub, all available for immediate occupancy.

All three units have been constructed to BREEAM "Outstanding" rating and EPC A+ energy efficiency standards, targeting net-zero carbon in operation. The project features sustainability attributes including photovoltaic power generation systems and electric vehicle charging facilities. Each unit offers Grade A warehouse facilities, including loading docks, level access doors, minimum floor loading capacity of 50kN/m², and high-specification offices with double-height glazed reception areas.
Market demand has already validated the park: Warburtons pre-leased the 65,847-square-foot Plot 06 cross-dock distribution center on a 25-year lease, which recently completed; while the 180,250-square-foot Plot 07 was sold to Bond International, which chose to expand within the park after acquiring Plot 05 in the previous second phase. The park offers direct access to the A1 road, with the M25, M1, and A14 motorways all within 30 miles, placing it at the heart of the UK's north-south distribution network.
Jake Howard, Associate Development Director at Tritax Big Box Developments, stated that the practical completion of these three units reflects the strength of the park's development and construction, and expressed gratitude for the contributions of Volker Fitzpatrick and the consultant team. He noted that the park currently offers units ranging from 139,500 square feet to 287,200 square feet to meet demand for high-quality, sustainable logistics space.
Councillor Adam Zerny, Leader of Central Bedfordshire Council, pointed out that the completion of these three new units demonstrates the level of investment in the region and business confidence in Central Bedfordshire. These businesses will create local employment opportunities and contribute millions of pounds in value. The park also features on-site amenities including a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), fitness trails, and public art to support tenant well-being and operational needs.
Looking ahead, the fourth phase of Symmetry Park Biggleswade will offer further design-and-build opportunities for bespoke logistics units, with options up to 1.2 million square feet. Bidwells and Colliers serve as joint leasing agents for the project.
