en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Hengjia·Jinxiu Tiancheng (Dingxi Talent Apartments and Youth Apartments) project, undertaken by China Gansu Construction Investment Sixth Construction Company, has been successfully completed and delivered. As a key livelihood project for talent settlement in Dingxi City, the project team achieved the topping-out milestone 21 days ahead of schedule over more than three years of construction through integrated party building, meticulous management, and technological innovation. The project has also earned multiple honors, including a two-star national green construction evaluation.
At the start of the project, the team faced challenges such as tight capital turnover and delays in material and labor supply. A project party group was established, along with "Party Member Demonstration Posts," "Party Member Vanguard Teams," and "Youth Commando Teams," integrating party building with production and operations. During critical phases such as basement construction, topping-out, and continuous concrete pouring, party member backbone and youth team members took on urgent, difficult, and dangerous tasks. Through regular labor competitions and the "Ankang Cup" competition, the team fostered a culture of learning and competition. After ten months of round-the-clock work, the topping-out goal was achieved 21 days ahead of schedule.
In terms of progress control, the project department implemented a working mechanism of "daily deployment, daily review, weekly scheduling, and monthly summary," breaking down overall construction goals into monthly plans, weekly targets, and daily tasks. Resource allocation was coordinated through daily morning meetings and weekly regular meetings. A dedicated scientific and technological research team was established, focusing on the "research on rotary jet grouting expansion hole construction technology for cast-in-place piles in weathered rock layers." The team published two professional papers and developed a special research report and a complete set of construction process standards. Meanwhile, BIM technology was widely adopted, using digital methods to simulate construction processes and predict potential issues, reducing rework and waste.
In terms of quality and safety management, the project department implemented systems such as labor real-name registration, technical disclosure, three-level quality inspection, model guidance, and sign-off acceptance. Regular safety education, equipment inspections, fire drills, and safety warning studies were also conducted. The team organized online and offline observation and learning of high-quality demonstration projects to enhance standardized construction and refined management capabilities.
During the prefabricated component installation phase, the on-site storage area was narrow, preventing large cranes from operating. Master worker Meng Zhengyang proactively conducted on-site surveys and devised a scientific manual transport route. All team members used handcarts for short-distance transport, working continuously for nine hours to complete the transfer, sorting, and positioning of 326 prefabricated components, finishing 15 hours ahead of the original 24-hour schedule.
Given the large number of young employees on the project, the team organized group study sessions after dinner each day to review the day's work and plan the next day's tasks, covering safety production requirements, corporate management systems, and professional technical knowledge. The project department encouraged young employees to develop personal work and study plans, regularly held heart-to-heart talks, and shared construction experience and management methods.
The Hengjia·Jinxiu Tiancheng project team has earned honors including a two-star national green construction evaluation, a qualified Gansu Province green construction evaluation project, a Gansu Province provincial civilized construction site, a Dingxi City municipal civilized construction site, and the Sixth Construction Company's "Three Excellence Project Department" award. The project has also passed phased acceptance for foundation and main structure.
