en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Ministry of Agriculture of the Chuvash Republic (Министерство сельского хозяйства Чувашской Республики) held a business meeting with a Chinese delegation to discuss plans to expand the range of agricultural products exported to China, aiming to boost agricultural exports and bilateral economic and trade cooperation. This is part of the national project "International Cooperation and Export."

The Chinese side was represented by delegates from Kas Group, while the Chuvash side was represented by heads of agricultural enterprises. Chuvash producers showcased their export potential and introduced the product categories and estimated supply volumes planned for export to China, including grains and oilseeds, meat and grocery products, potato chips, and livestock and poultry feed.
The Chinese company introduced its business structure and expressed interest in promoting high-quality agricultural products and food items to its domestic market, while emphasizing the importance of meeting export supply requirements and possessing all necessary permits. The negotiating parties reviewed the most popular products in the Chinese market as well as the cooperation process, including contract signing and obtaining the required permits.
After the meeting, Inna Volkova (Инна Волкова), First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Chuvash Republic, expressed hope that new products from Chuvashia would soon appear on the Chinese market. China is currently one of the main buyers of Chuvash products. In the first half of 2026, the region exported approximately 500 tons of agricultural products to China.
