en.Wedoany.com Reported - Canadian gold exploration company Onyx Gold (TSX-V:ONYX) announced new drilling progress at its Munro-Croesus project, located 75 kilometers east of Timmins, Ontario, extending the Argus North gold zone to a vertical depth of over 700 meters.

The company reported results from 17 drill holes at the project, with standout intercepts including a 28.1-meter section grading 3.5 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, which includes a 17.8-meter section grading 5.3 g/t gold. Drilling has now extended from near-surface to over 700 meters vertical depth, with the zone remaining open both at depth and along strike.

In the Argus Main area, three deeper holes continued to encounter widespread gold mineralization, with hole MC26-324 intersecting a 93-meter section grading 1 g/t gold. Approximately 250 meters to the northeast, initial drilling in a previously untested area intersected a 7.3-meter section grading 2.6 g/t gold.

Other highlights from Argus North include hole MC26-271, which intersected 19 meters grading 3.5 g/t gold, including a 6.6-meter section grading 8.3 g/t gold and a 1.0-meter section grading 24.3 g/t gold. Hole MC26-324 ended in strong mineralization, with the final 4 meters containing a 0.7-meter section grading 19.3 g/t gold, and the last meter grading 1.4 g/t gold.

Onyx Gold CEO Brock Colterjohn stated that today's results show both Argus North and Argus Main continue to grow with depth while maintaining the system's characteristic broad, continuous mineralization style. The northeast target shows potential for expansion of the Argus trend, with hole MC26-316, drilled 250 meters northeast of Argus Main, intersecting 7.3 meters grading 2.6 g/t gold, including a 1.5-meter section grading 8.8 g/t gold.

Onyx Gold has completed 188 drill holes to date, totaling approximately 75,000 meters, with about 35,000 meters remaining to be drilled in 2026. The company is operating four diamond drills and expects to complete a 110,000-meter drilling program by year-end. The Argus gold system demonstrates strong continuity over a total gold mineralization strike length of approximately 1,400 meters, extending over 700 meters vertically, and remains open along strike, down-dip, and down-plunge.
