en.Wedoany.com Reported - Gherzi Textil Organisation has established a new entity, Gherzi Americas, covering the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the regional textile and apparel supply chain.

Giuseppe Gherzi, Managing Partner of Gherzi Textil Organisation, stated that Gherzi has always been at the intersection of textile expertise and pragmatic business judgment. The establishment of Gherzi Americas provides the company with a stronger platform in one of the world's most important regions, bringing together a leadership team with deep industry knowledge.
Following this restructuring, Robert Antoshak has been appointed Managing Partner of Gherzi Americas, with Radhika Shrinivas and David Uricoli joining as Partners. The team will provide consulting services to brands, retailers, manufacturers, investors, government agencies, and technology providers. Focus areas include sourcing strategy, manufacturing development, trade risk exposure, and operational improvement.
Antoshak brings decades of experience in textiles, apparel sourcing, trade strategy, and advisory support for governments. He noted that companies in the Americas are being forced to rethink old assumptions, with tariffs, sourcing shifts, compliance requirements, and geopolitical risks now central to business competition. Their work is to help clients make decisions that withstand scrutiny.
Shrinivas has expertise in strategic sourcing, product development, supplier management, and project execution in textiles and apparel. Uricoli's background covers business development, ESG implementation, commercial due diligence, and supply chain risk assessment. Additionally, the new division will be supported by Uday Gill, a Partner at Gherzi Textil Organisation, who is based in Vancouver, Canada, and will collaborate with the Americas team while continuing his global textile consulting responsibilities.
Gherzi Americas will work closely with the organization's global network, aiming to provide clients with tailored regional services. The office will assist companies in evaluating sourcing options, developing manufacturing capabilities, and offering advice on investment, operational efficiency, and enhancing supply chain resilience.
Giuseppe Gherzi added that generic consulting does not work in the Americas; clients need advisors who understand textiles, manufacturing, trade, and execution—this is precisely Gherzi Americas' positioning. Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, Gherzi serves the textile, apparel, manufacturing, and sourcing sectors, providing strategic, operational, market development, and investment advisory support to clients.
