en.Wedoany.com Reported - The hydraulic pressure test for Boiler No. 6 of the Guangdong Huaneng Haimen Power Plant 2×1000MW unit project was successfully completed on July 18.

The test covered two systems: primary steam and secondary steam. The test pressure for the primary steam system reached 41.88 MPa, while the secondary steam system test pressure was 8.73 MPa, with a total water volume of approximately 1,241 cubic meters. All 72,418 welded joints, as well as all valves and pressure-bearing components, showed no leakage, and no visible residual deformation was observed in the pressure-bearing elements. All indicators met the specification requirements, indicating that the boiler body installation and heating surface welding quality comply with standards.

The project department carried out planning and arrangements for the hydraulic pressure test. Before the test, technical personnel were organized to discuss and optimize the plan, conduct full-coverage non-destructive testing of welded joints, and inspect conditions such as system isolation, valve status, and temporary pipeline installation. During the test, technical personnel monitored the pressure increase rate and pressure stability values throughout the process, safety management personnel provided on-site supervision, and all positions operated according to procedures. After the test, a comprehensive inspection and restoration of the system were carried out, ensuring all indicators met requirements.

During the preparation and implementation of the test, party member responsibility areas participated in the work. Party member backbone personnel were responsible for tasks such as system isolation confirmation, valve status review, and pressure increase monitoring. From hazard identification before the test to data recording during pressure increase, and then to system inspection and restoration after the test, party members participated throughout, ensuring quality and safety with a sense of responsibility.

The success of the hydraulic pressure test lays the foundation for subsequent boiler acid cleaning, pipe blowing, and unit overall startup.
