en.Wedoany.com Reported - UK motorway service area operator Moto Hospitality has launched the Moto CHARGE ultra-fast charging hub at its Exeter site, bringing the total number of electric vehicle (EV) charging points at the location to 100, making it the largest EV charging super-hub in the UK.

This hub marks a significant milestone in Moto's nationwide investment plan, which exceeds £500 million. The chargers offer ultra-fast charging speeds of up to 400kW, enabling the latest EVs to gain up to 100 miles of range in under 10 minutes. Facilities include accessible charging points and multiple payment options.

The Exeter super-hub, located at Junction 30, has added 24 Moto CHARGE ultra-fast charging points, complementing the existing 32 Tesla and 44 GRIDSERVE high-power chargers.

As part of Moto's broader plan, the company aims to quadruple the number of EV charging points across its network to over 4,000, with the goal of eliminating driver range anxiety and ensuring charging convenience even during periods of seasonal high demand.

Ken McMeikan, CEO of Moto Hospitality, stated that this hub is an important milestone in the company's investment plan, reflecting its ambition to provide the EV charging infrastructure that customers need.
