en.Wedoany.com Reported - Nordic Resources (ASX: NNL) has reported that the latest drilling results from the Kopsa project in central Finland indicate the deposit may be significantly larger than previously anticipated. The project hosts 815,000 ounces of gold equivalent resources, and the latest drilling, collared 90 to 160 meters from previous holes, intersected over 100 meters of semi-continuous mineralization in all three holes, showing that the gold-copper mineralized zone is expanding to the southwest.
In the southwestern area of the Kopsa deposit, significant intercepts from the latest drilling include: Hole NRKOP26029 returned 34 meters at 1.05 g/t gold equivalent from 231 meters, including 2 meters at 4.10 g/t gold equivalent, and 60 meters at 0.89 g/t gold equivalent from 282 meters; Hole NRKOP26031 returned 29 meters at 0.94 g/t gold equivalent from 261 meters, 23 meters at 15 g/t gold equivalent from 320 meters, and 33 meters at 0.80 g/t gold equivalent from 356 meters; Hole NRKOP26032 returned 23 meters at 0.86 g/t gold equivalent from 265 meters, and 47 meters at 0.85 g/t gold equivalent from 342 meters.
Nordic Resources stated that these holes targeted previously undrilled portions of the intrusive body, and the results show excellent continuity with previous drilling both along and between sections. Managing Director Robert Wrixon commented that these are very large step-out holes for the Kopsa project, testing a large area of previously untested tonalite to the southwest for the first time, and the mineralized zone is not only continuing but widening, showing strong continuity both along and between sections.

These results are the final report from the 3,660-meter diamond drilling program conducted at Kopsa in Q2 2026. All three holes are significant step-out holes in the southwestern area, extending the mineralized zone beyond the resource boundary by over 100 meters in most locations. Despite the wide spacing, excellent continuity is shown with the existing resource block model and the nearest holes on the same sections. These new holes have not yet been incorporated into the existing resource estimate.

NNL is awaiting results from optimized metallurgical test work, expected within the current quarter. Following this, the company will compile all new information to update the Kopsa resource estimate. Further drilling is scheduled to commence in approximately two weeks.
