The meeting reported that the group's operating indicators for the first half of the year reached the best level in history for the same period, with total industrial output value up 134.24% year-on-year, operating revenue up 123%, and profit up 709%.

In the first half of the year, the group achieved stable growth in product output, a significant increase in operating efficiency, and strong development momentum, marking a solid start to high-quality development during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. Guo Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Xinjiang Nonferrous Metals Group, affirmed the growth achievements made by all cadres and employees through overcoming difficulties. He pointed out that 2026 is the first year of the "15th Five-Year Plan," and the group has implemented the spirit of the special meeting on state-owned enterprise work of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Party Committee, adhered to the main line of high-quality development, coordinated various tasks, and formed a good trend of Party building leading and dual improvement in operation quality and efficiency. He emphasized the need to strictly manage safety in production, hold the safety bottom line, coordinate environmental governance, and accelerate the green and low-carbon transition; consolidate basic management, address shortcomings through compliant governance and lean management; standardize project construction processes to promote early project commissioning; increase investment in technological innovation to cultivate new productive forces; advance the digital, intelligent, and green transformation of the industry to create a model smart enterprise; firmly implement the resource control strategy to solidify long-term resource security; and promote a new round of state-owned enterprise reform to improve the modern corporate governance system.

Zeng Guanjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Xinjiang Nonferrous Metals Group, presented the first-half economic operation analysis report at the meeting, summarizing the achievements of the first half and outlining the key directions for the second half. In the first half, all sectors worked in synergy, with major achievements including: strengthening safety defenses, carrying out a special "Ten Checks" campaign for safety management at mining, beneficiation, and smelting production sites, and establishing a safety production assessment database; accelerating project construction, coordinating production organization, and achieving stable and increased production; adhering to the production orientation of "no winter shutdown, full capacity year-round" to ensure stable and positive operations; strengthening resource reserves, making breakthroughs in geological exploration, achieving results in mining rights auctions, and expanding channels through coordinated efforts; implementing the first batch of 10 "open competition" research tasks, with initial results in digital and intelligent empowerment, and accelerating the "Artificial Intelligence+" initiative; deepening state-owned enterprise reform, simultaneously advancing compliance control, and improving the risk prevention and control system; advancing key tasks such as capital operations, penetrating supervision, and dual reduction of energy and carbon; and deeply carrying out education and learning on establishing and practicing a correct view of performance, promoting deep integration of Party building with production and operations.

In the second half of the year, the group will focus on eight key tasks: safety in production, stable production and reaching full capacity, project construction, lean management, improvement of the institutional system, implementation of technological innovation and digital intelligence projects, increasing resource reserves, and strengthening Party leadership. The meeting also recognized the "Good Leadership Team for Entrepreneurship," "Outstanding Enterprise Managers," the Party branch of the Kunlun Blue Diamond Mining Workshop, which was rated as an "Advanced Grassroots Party Organization of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region," and Zhang Chao, the gold medal winner of the Third Vocational Skills Competition of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
