en.Wedoany.com Reported - Purecore Metals Inc. has announced the completion of Phase 1 field exploration at its Bankier mineral project in the Central Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada, and has simultaneously entered into several marketing and digital service agreements to support investor relations. The project was executed by geologists from HEG & Associates as part of the company's 2026 field program.
The company holds a 100% interest in the Bankier project, an early-stage critical minerals exploration project featuring potential alteration characteristics and multi-element Mobile Metal Ion (MMI) anomalies of copper, molybdenum, gold, zinc, silver, lead, and uranium. Phase 1 work included a full-area reconnaissance survey and mapping of roads and access routes; comprehensive geological mapping targeting lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structural controls on metal enrichment; re-examination and verification of historical sampling points and mineralized occurrences; and geological route surveys in previously unexplored areas.
Purecore President and CEO Peter Berdusco stated that this field program has significantly enhanced the company's understanding of the geological, alteration, and structural controls on mineralization within the project area. Particularly encouraging is the identification of additional alteration zones beyond the historical MINFILE occurrences, revealing new targets for subsequent exploration.

The project's basement is primarily composed of medium-grained granite, with local alaskite dikes historically associated with mineralization and alteration in the area. Six samples were collected near the Jessie and HP mineralized zones. Additionally, a previously unrecorded gossan-like outcrop was identified and sampled in an area south of the Jessie mineralized zone with no prior historical sampling records. The rock material collected from this location exhibits plutonic characteristics, but intense sericite and limonite alteration masks the original texture of the parent rock. At historical MINFILE occurrences, color anomalies are typically associated with north-south trending structural features, and future exploration will focus on these structural trends to delineate potential mineralization extents.
The Bankier project is located approximately 22 kilometers west of Peachland, near the historically producing Brenda copper-molybdenum mine. The project's basement comprises a structurally complex intrusive system characterized by granodiorite and granite, cut by numerous alaskite dikes that are locally associated with alteration and mineralization. Exploration to date has identified three reported MINFILE mineralized occurrences, including Glad, Bankier, and HP. Historical and recent geochemical and geophysical work, including airborne magnetic surveys, Mobile Metal Ion (MMI) soil sampling, and rock sampling, has delineated multiple multi-element geochemical anomalies of copper, molybdenum, gold, zinc, silver, lead, and uranium.
