Emirates Posts 0.16% Flight Cancellation Rate in June, Ranks Seventh Globally in On-Time Performance

According to operational performance data released by aviation data analytics firm OAG, the Dubai-based carrier saw 85.24% of its 12,608 flights assessed in June arrive or depart within 15 minutes of their scheduled times. Among airlines operating between 10,000 and 20,000 flights per month, it ranked seventh globally in on-time performance.

The ranking data was disclosed by the Arabic-language daily newspaper Al Khaleej. Emirates ranked first in the Middle East in June and 10th among global major carriers, tied with Aeromexico.

In a cross-comparison, Emirates outperformed several major international airlines, including Korean Air, Panama's Copa Airlines, Saudia, and WestJet, all of which recorded higher flight cancellation rates than Emirates in June.

OAG's statistics show that despite ongoing disruptions to air travel in some regions during June, Emirates maintained a combination of low cancellation rates and relatively high on-time performance across its extensive international route network, with operational stability showing no significant fluctuation due to regional disturbances.
