en.Wedoany.com Reported - Teck and Anglo American have announced the future executive leadership team for Anglo Teck, the new company formed following their merger, with these executive positions taking effect immediately upon completion of the merger. The merger remains subject to final regulatory approvals and is expected to close within the previously announced window of September 2026 to March 2027.
The newly formed executive leadership team brings together seasoned leaders from both companies, covering functions such as operations, finance, global market insights, safety leadership, and project delivery. Effective from the date of merger completion, the Anglo Teck executive leadership team will comprise the following members: Duncan Wanblad as Chief Executive Officer (CEO); Jonathan Price as Deputy CEO and Chief Strategy Officer; John Heasley as Chief Financial Officer (CFO); Ruben Fernandes as Chief Operating Officer (COO); Ian Anderson as Chief People Officer; Lyndon Arnall as Chief Legal and Sustainability Officer; Alison Atkinson as Chief Technology Officer and CEO of Crop Nutrients; Karla Mills as Chief Project Officer; and Matt Walker as CEO of Marketing.
Nolitha Fakude will continue in her current role as Chair of the Anglo Teck South Africa Management Board, reporting to Duncan Wanblad. The regional leadership team responsible for mining and production operations has also been confirmed, likewise reporting to Chief Operating Officer Ruben Fernandes from the date of merger completion: Brock Gill as CEO for Canada and the United States, Tony Power as CEO for Peru, Ana Sanches as CEO for Brazil, Dale Webb as CEO for Chile, and Mpumi Zikalala as CEO of Kumba Iron Ore.
