en.Wedoany.com Reported - Since the second quarter, Hengli Heavy Industry has continued to attract significant attention from the market and international shipowners, with a steady stream of business successes. In the past July, Hengli Heavy Industry secured 46 new shipbuilding orders in a single month, covering the four major vessel types: bulk carriers, container ships, tankers, and gas carriers. This strong momentum marked a successful start to the third quarter, with the total value of monthly orders exceeding 30 billion yuan.

Among the orders received that month, Hengli Heavy Industry's self-developed 3,100 TEU container ship and 88,000 cubic meter Very Large Ammonia Carrier (VLAC) were signed in bulk. This is a precise response by Hengli Heavy Industry to market dynamics and a deep understanding of shipowner needs, and it is also a testament to its dedicated efforts in the development of green vessel designs.

Among these, the 3,100 TEU container ship was ordered in bulk by Minerva, a renowned Greek shipowner. This vessel type is specifically designed for regional routes and feeder fleet renewal, fully meeting the current shipping market's demand for green and intelligent medium-sized container ships. The 88,000 cubic meter VLAC was ordered by Evalend, a leading Greek shipping company. Hengli Heavy Industry had previously established production capacity covering dual-fuel engines for LNG, LPG, methanol, and ammonia. This collaboration with Evalend marks Hengli Heavy Industry's recognition by top-tier international shipowners in the emerging gas carrier sector.
