Dimension News, learned from China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beijing Railway Group"), at 7:00 on August 1, as train G55371 departed from Xiong'an Station, the Hebei section of the Xiong'an New Area to Shangqiu High-Speed Railway concluded its 108-day joint commissioning and testing, officially entering the trial operation stage, making a final sprint toward the line's opening and operation.
The trial operation simulates the official operation status of the line, conducting a comprehensive "real-world" test of the high-speed railway's transport organization, equipment status, and more. During this period, Beijing Railway Group will carry out multiple tests including operating diagram parameter testing, fault simulation, emergency rescue drills, and train operation according to the diagram, providing technical basis for the line's official opening and operation.
The Xiong-Shang High-Speed Railway starts from Xiong'an Station on the Beijing-Xiong'an Intercity Railway in the north and ends at Shangqiu Station on the Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou High-Speed Railway in the south, with a total main line length of 552 kilometers and a design speed of 350 km/h. As an important component of the Beijing-Hong Kong High-Speed Railway in China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network, the Xiong-Shang High-Speed Railway connects southward to the Shangqiu-Hefei High-Speed Railway and the Hefei-Anqing-Jiujiang High-Speed Railway, links with the under-construction Nanchang-Jiujiang High-Speed Railway, and connects to the Nanchang-Ganzhou High-Speed Railway, Ganzhou-Shenzhen High-Speed Railway, and Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed Railway, forming a continuous north-south high-speed rail corridor with a highly important position in the regional rail network.
