The vessel was ordered by China Merchants Nanjing Oil Transport (CMNOT), designed by Shanghai Merchant Ship Design and Research Institute (SDARI), built by Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. under China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), and subject to construction survey by the Chongqing Branch of China Classification Society (CCS). The Chongqing Branch was invited to attend the ceremony.
This vessel is a new-generation green premium main ship type tailored for the global high-end shipping market. Its cargo tanks adopt industry-advanced 2205 duplex stainless steel, featuring outstanding corrosion resistance and exceptional safety adaptability. It fully meets the IMO Tier III international highest environmental standards and global unrestricted navigation requirements, with industry-leading performance indicators.
Over the years, CMNOT, Chuandong Shipbuilding, and the Chongqing Branch have worked hand in hand. Twenty years ago, the three parties jointly delivered the first 3,000-tonne stainless steel chemical tanker "NINGHUA 417", filling a domestic gap in the construction of this ship type. Twenty years later, the new-generation 11,300 DWT high-end stainless steel chemical tanker "NINGHUA 433" has been commissioned. Two decades of sincere cooperation have jointly written a fine chapter of "Chinese-built, Chinese-classed, and Chinese-surveyed" stainless steel chemical tankers.
During the construction of this vessel, the Chongqing Branch actively responded to Chuandong Shipbuilding's goal of "ensuring timely delivery" by assigning senior surveyors from its Fuling Office to work alongside the owner's site supervisors at CMNOT, jointly identifying and resolving various challenges during construction in a timely manner. The project team's surveyors worked overtime to fully guarantee the construction quality and delivery schedule, providing strong support for the smooth completion and delivery of the vessel, and earning unanimous praise from all parties involved.
