Vladimir Demyanov, Deputy General Director of the company, stated that the enterprise is ready to supply all necessary equipment for Russia's hydropower generation. Its product line covers units with single-unit capacities ranging from 30 MW to 640 MW, and its production capacity is sufficient to undertake large-scale projects. However, he also pointed out that capacity utilization could be severely low over the next 5 to 15 years. From 2010 to 2024, Russia's newly added installed hydropower capacity averaged approximately 500 MW per year, whereas in the 1960s to 1980s, the annual commissioned capacity reached as high as 1.3 GW.

Power Machines suggests that the industry could drive development through investment recovery mechanisms, similar to the "DPM" (capacity supply agreement) program for the construction and modernization of hydropower plants.
