China's Northernmost High-Speed Railway Commences Trial Operation on Timetable

en.Wedoany.com Reported - At 7:40 a.m. on August 6, the D7271 trial train departed from Harbin Station in Heilongjiang Province, traveling via the Harbin-Yichun High-Speed Railway and arriving at Yichun West Station after 2 hours and 2 minutes, marking the commencement of timetable-based trial operations on the Harbin-Yichun High-Speed Railway.

During the trial operations of the Harbin-Yichun High-Speed Railway, tests are being conducted in strict accordance with actual operational standards, including train timetable parameter testing, fault simulation, emergency rescue drills, and timetable-based running tests. By simulating the official operational status of the line, these tests comprehensively verify transportation organization, train arrival and departure, service frequency, passenger service equipment conditions, and the compatibility of various systems, providing a scientific basis for the line's official opening.

The Harbin-Yichun High-Speed Railway is currently China's highest-latitude and northernmost high-speed railway under construction, with a total line length of 318 kilometers and a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour. Once opened, the railway travel time between Harbin and Yichun will be reduced from approximately 7 hours to about 2 hours.
