The contract for this global destination project was awarded to the company by Qiddiya Investment Company, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF).

Located in the Tuwaiq Mountains and spanning 360 square kilometers, Qiddiya City is the world's first city built entirely around the concept of the "Power of Play." The project encompasses extensive residential, retail, and hospitality construction, and is expected to accommodate 500,000 residents upon completion, welcoming over 40 million visitors annually. The city is approximately a 40-minute drive from Riyadh.

The city features numerous planned theme parks and entertainment facilities, including Six Flags Qiddiya City, home to the record-breaking "Falcons Flight" roller coaster; Aquarabia, Saudi Arabia's first dedicated water park; the world's only Dragon Ball Theme Park; and the Gaming & Esports District. Project highlights also include the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, designed for major events such as the 2034 FIFA World Cup, a performing arts center, and the Mercedes-AMG World of Performance.

Versatile International, a subsidiary of Australian property development and construction company Versatile Group, has offices in Dubai and Riyadh and was established in the Middle East six years ago to provide supply chain certainty, risk mitigation, and superior procurement of natural stone for asset developers of destination-scale projects. The company stated that the advancement of this large-scale project underscores its growing influence in Saudi Arabia and its role in delivering specialized stone consulting for complex, large-scale developments.
