U.S. LOC Corporation Plans to Add 8×20-Foot Autoclave in 2027
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 19, U.S. aerospace structural component manufacturer LOC Industries plans to add a Taricco Corp autoclave to its composite manufacturing operations, with installation expected in the second quarter of 2027, to expand its manufacturing capabilities for large, complex aerospace composite structural components.

The new autoclave measures 8 feet in diameter and 20 feet in length, approximately 2.44 meters in diameter and 6.10 meters in length. Once operational, it will share composite autoclave curing duties with the existing 8×15-foot ASC Process Systems autoclave and the 8×10-foot ASC curing oven on site.
LOC Industries will also construct a high-bay cleanroom of approximately 3,500 square feet, or about 325 square meters, for composite layup and structural component manufacturing. The new equipment and cleanroom will expand its composite processing scope for aerospace and defense programs.
The company's existing processes include autoclave molding and bonding, compression molding, oven curing, and assembly of complex composite components, capable of processing carbon fiber, Kevlar fiber, fiberglass, and metal honeycomb sandwich structures.
Founded in 2009, LOC Industries operates a production facility of approximately 60,400 square feet in Warren, Michigan, USA, supplying structural components to aerospace equipment manufacturers and the U.S. military, with related products applied to the C-5 transport aircraft, B-52 bomber, UH-60 helicopter, and CH-53 helicopter. The company holds AS9100D certification and Nadcap composite process accreditation.
