en.Wedoany.com Reported - Egyptian cookware manufacturer Zinox El Zenouki's newly built stainless steel tableware factory in the capital, Cairo, is expected to officially commence production in mid-October. The project involves an investment of EGP 350 million (approximately USD 11.3 million).

Located in the Cairo industrial zone, the new factory covers an area of 10,000 square meters, with an annual designed production capacity of 5 million pieces, including spoons, forks, knives, and tableware sets. The factory will be built in three phases over five years, with the first phase achieving a capacity of 5 million pieces, and subsequent phases expanding output to support export markets. The new factory focuses on tableware production, complementing the company's existing cookware production lines.

Zinox El Zenouki is affiliated with the El Zenouki Group, which was founded in 1964 as a small aluminum cookware factory. In 2013, the group launched the Zinox brand, focusing on high-end stainless steel cookware. Currently, the company's products are available at over 500 retail outlets across Egypt, with an extensive distribution network in all major governorates. The company operates multiple manufacturing facilities in the Cairo industrial zone, employing approximately 500 to 1,000 people.

The company is simultaneously advancing multiple market expansion initiatives. In early 2026, Zinox El Zenouki initiated its international expansion into Eastern Europe and the United States. The company has completed its participation in the 2026 Ambiente International Trade Fair for consumer goods in Germany and plans to attend a specialized trade exhibition in Turkey in September to stay abreast of the latest design trends and product directions in the cookware industry.

In the domestic market, the company has adjusted its sales strategy since early 2026, shifting from reliance on major clients and wholesalers to expanding direct cooperation with small and medium-sized traders, thereby increasing the number of direct-sales customers. The commissioning of the new factory will support the company in launching more new product lines to meet growing customer demand. Zinox also operates the Master El Zenouki brand, which specializes in die-cast aluminum cookware featuring granite and ceramic non-stick coatings.
