en.Wedoany.com Reported - Canadian mining company Tocvan Ventures Corp has recorded its longest drill intercept to date in an unexplored area of its flagship Gran Pilar project during exploration activities. Gran Pilar is located in Sonora, where Tocvan maintains full ownership of the property, and the company believes these results further support its assessment of the site's geological potential.

Tocvan Executive President Brodie Sutherland stated that the large-scale drilling campaign has extended beyond the historical Main Zone into newly defined priority areas. Key findings include shallow, high-grade silver mineralization on the eastern side of the project, as well as the El Mezquite trend, a magnetic anomaly extending over 1.2 kilometers.

Surface mapping and sampling efforts have rapidly advanced into the southern block and the central corridor of the northern block. Tocvan believes these areas exhibit geochemical signatures and preliminary lithology similar to those of El Mezquite, presenting additional potential for gold, silver, and copper mineralization; pilot mine operation plans are also progressing.

Rock sample assay results returned gold values up to 2.4 g/t and silver up to 67 g/t. Copper grades reached up to 1.6%, with this high value associated with historical mining operations in tourmaline breccia. Structures within the central corridor have been traced over more than 1,000 meters of strike length, aligned with the orientation of the Main Zone; the northern end of the structure remains open, and depth has not yet been tested by drilling.

Tocvan will continue geological mapping, sampling, and soil grid surveys in the central corridor, with the resulting data to be integrated with ongoing geophysical readings to define drilling and excavation targets. These targets will be evaluated in the next phase of the 2026 program.
