en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 21, Canadian mineral exploration company Krait Critical Minerals announced that it has signed an exclusive option agreement with U.S.-based Sierra Antimony to acquire 100% interest in 17 contiguous unpatented federal mining claims totaling approximately 354 acres (about 143 hectares) in Humboldt County, Nevada, USA. The agreement was signed on October 19, with acquisition terms including installment cash payments of US$75,000 and the issuance of the company's common shares. The property has historically hosted antimony mining and is currently at an early stage of renewed geological data evaluation.

Under the agreement, Krait will pay US$5,000 within 7 business days of the effective date, US$20,000 within 30 days, and US$25,000 in each of the first and second years. The equity consideration includes the issuance of 150,000 common shares within 30 days of the effective date, and the issuance of common shares valued at C$200,000 on each of the first and second anniversaries of the effective date. Upon completion of all cash payments and share issuances, Krait may exercise the option to acquire 100% interest in the relevant mining rights.

Sierra Antimony will hold a 2.5% net smelter return royalty upon commercial production from the property. Krait may reduce this royalty to 1% by making a one-time payment of US$2 million. The agreement permits early fulfillment of payment and share issuance obligations and does not make minimum exploration expenditure a condition for exercising the option. The transaction and securities issuances remain subject to applicable regulatory requirements and Canadian Securities Exchange rules.

The target property includes the historic Nevada King mine, where early mining activities extended along a strike length of approximately 2.25 kilometers, with remaining workings including 4 adits, 2 shafts, and open-pit excavations. Historical records indicate that approximately 30 tonnes of ore grading 50% antimony were mined in 1927, 1.5 tonnes grading 41% in 1941, and 2 tonnes grading 54% in 1942. These grades are derived from historically selectively mined high-grade ore and do not represent the average grade of the current mineral body.

Historical sampling data from the property also record 17 antimony samples with antimony content ranging from 10.6 to 9,800 ppm, and 11 additional samples with gold content ranging from 0.003 to 0.718 ppm and silver content ranging from 0.36 to 8.3 ppm. Mineralization described in historical records occurs primarily in stibnite-bearing quartz veins and shear zones, with some mineralized veins approximately 0.61 meters wide. The relevant sampling and production data are derived from historical government records, have not been independently verified by Krait's current exploration work, and do not constitute current mineral resources or reserves.

Krait plans to first review existing geological and technical data for the property and identify areas for follow-up exploration. Field geological mapping, prospecting, geochemical sampling, and geophysical surveys will be scheduled based on technical evaluation results, site access conditions, permitting, and company approval.
