en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 3, the Santa María de Guía Town Hall on Gran Canaria, Spain, completed and accepted the self-consumption rooftop photovoltaic project on its municipal building, with the works carried out by Ecomove S.L. The project received €42,000 in funding from the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. Following completion and acceptance, the photovoltaic system is now ready to operate and supply electricity to the town hall building.

The system is installed on the town hall's sloped roof, with modules arranged according to the existing roof geometry at a tilt angle of approximately 19 degrees facing south, secured using anodized aluminum structures and A2 stainless steel fasteners. The system is equipped with a SolarEdge SE15k three-phase inverter with a rated power of 15 kW, connected on the generation side to the building's low-voltage main distribution system. The construction period was set at two months as per the engineering plan.

The photovoltaic array covers approximately 76 square meters of roof area and is equipped with module-level power optimization devices to manage the output of each module individually. The Town Hall confirmed that the project uses high-efficiency photovoltaic modules with a nominal power of 475 watts per module; upon completion of the works, the electricity generated by the system will be used directly for the town hall's own consumption.

The project was previously procured by the Santa María de Guía Town Hall through a public procedure, which designated Ecomove S.L. as the construction contractor. With the completion of construction and formal acceptance, the project has now transitioned from the implementation phase to the commissioning preparation stage.
