Egypt's Designy Doors Phase I Factory Commences Production, with Total Investment Target of $20 Million

The overall project covers an area of approximately 35,000 square meters, with a planned total investment of $20 million; the Phase I production facilities, which have commenced operations, cover approximately 15,000 square meters, with an investment of $12 million completed.

The project primarily produces wood doors, wood-plastic composite (WPC) doors, decorative products, flooring accessories, and wood-substitute wall cladding. According to the production capacity plan announced by the company, once the factory reaches full capacity, it can produce 120,000 wood doors, 168,000 WPC doors, and 4 million linear meters of accessories and decorative products annually, with the project expected to provide approximately 250 job opportunities.

The Phase I production line has established a complete production process from raw material processing to finished product packaging, including wood and plastic processing, material preparation, cutting, pressing, assembly, and packaging. During the production commencement event on September 6, the relevant production stages were already in the on-site operational demonstration phase. The project's product plan covers both the domestic Egyptian market and export markets.

Designy Doors has currently completed the construction of the Phase I production facilities covering 15,000 square meters within the overall 35,000-square-meter plant area, with the completed investment accounting for 60% of the planned total investment. Public information has not yet disclosed the specific construction scale, equipment configuration, or production commencement timeline for the subsequent projects corresponding to the remaining approximately $8 million investment.
