Nordex Secures 91MW Wind Power Equipment Order in Germany
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 16, the Nordex Group announced that it had secured a 91MW onshore wind power equipment order in Brandenburg, Germany, with TEUT Energieprojekte GmbH as the customer. The order corresponds to the Schönermark-Passow wind farm, where 13 N163/6.X wind turbines will be installed, accompanied by a 20-year Premium Service long-term service agreement.
The Schönermark-Passow wind farm is located near Schwedt/Oder in the Uckermark district of Brandenburg, Germany. All 13 turbines are of the N163/6.X model, with a hub height of 164 meters. According to the implementation plan published by Nordex, project construction as well as turbine delivery and installation work are scheduled to begin in September 2027, with the first turbine expected to be commissioned in January 2028.
The project is being implemented jointly by TEUT Energieprojekte and Salzburg AG, an energy company based in the Austrian state of Salzburg. This contract covers not only the supply of turbine equipment but also turbine installation and 20-year long-term operation and maintenance services, forming a complete contract chain of "equipment supply—installation—long-term service." Public information has not yet disclosed the specific contract amount for this order.
TEUT Energieprojekte has previously procured wind turbines from Nordex on multiple occasions. In 2025, the developer ordered 11 Nordex turbines for the Mürow-Neukünkendorf and Willmersdorf-Tempelfelde wind farms, with a total installed capacity of 65.7MW. The two projects are scheduled to be commissioned in spring and summer 2027, respectively. Schönermark-Passow is the 10th project in the cooperation between the two parties.
According to cumulative cooperation data published by TEUT Energieprojekte, including this 91MW order, the company has procured 39 turbines from Nordex, with a cumulative installed capacity reaching 252MW. This new project continues to adopt the N163/6.X platform, and once commissioned, it will further expand TEUT's onshore wind power asset scale in Brandenburg.
The N163/6.X is currently also one of Nordex's main models deployed at scale in the German market. In the first two months of the second quarter of 2026, Nordex secured approximately 255MW of new orders in Germany, involving 14 wind power projects and 39 turbines, 19 of which were N163/6.X; multiple projects also adopted a 164-meter hub height and were accompanied by long-term service agreements.
At the current stage, this order represents the formal finalization of the equipment procurement and service contract. The next key milestone is the start of project construction, turbine delivery, and hoisting in September 2027, followed by the commissioning of the first turbine in January 2028.
