en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 17, FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies disclosed that the company has completed the continuous drawing of a single 110.6 km span of anti-resonant hollow-core fiber, while maintaining uniform and stable microstructure in a hundred-kilometer-class product. According to the specifications published by FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies, this length sets a new domestic record for the longest continuously drawn single span of anti-resonant hollow-core fiber, and the product can be used for subsequent multi-scenario engineering validation and delivery.

This breakthrough corresponds to the continuous drawing capability in the hollow-core fiber manufacturing process. According to FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies' 2025 public materials, the single-bridge-structure hollow-core fiber developed by the company in 2024 had already achieved a single drawing length of 30 km; since then, the company has continued to advance manufacturing processes such as high-precision quartz tube drawing, precise preform shaping, fine intermediate drawing, and precision control of microstructures by region. The company has now disclosed that it possesses commercial delivery capability for hollow-core anti-resonant fiber.

In terms of optical performance, the new-generation ultra-low-loss hollow-core fiber released by FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies in March 2026 achieved a minimum attenuation of 0.06 dB/km in the 1550 nm band, with overall attenuation below 0.18 dB/km in the S+C+L bands, and reduced transmission latency by 31% compared with traditional solid-core fiber. These parameters and the 110.6 km continuous drawing length this time belong to two separate indicators: "transmission performance" and "manufacturing length."

In July of this year, FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies also used an improved double-nested anti-resonant hollow-core fiber to complete a 51.2 km single-fiber bidirectional 240 Tb/s real-time optical transmission experiment, achieving a capacity-distance product of 12.288 Pbit/s·km. The system supports a single wavelength of 1.2 Tb/s and more than 17 THz of available bandwidth in the S+C+L bands. The company has also developed hollow-core optical cable installation solutions suitable for working conditions such as conduit, aerial, and direct-buried deployment.

In terms of engineering applications, FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies disclosed at the Shenzhen Optical Expo in September that its hollow-core fiber has been applied to China Mobile's domestic hundred-kilometer-class data center interconnection project, and that it has accumulated deployment experience in scenarios such as direct burial, conduit, tunnel, aerial, and bridge. At the same time, it also demonstrated an integrated transmission solution combining hollow-core fiber with 800G Scale-Across equipment.
