en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 26, the assembly cycle of CAS Space's Kinetica-1 launch vehicle has been shortened from about 3 months during its maiden flight phase to about 15 days currently. As the rocket enters a phase of high-density, routine launches, it has basically achieved a launch mission every month.

Correspondingly, the Nansha assembly plant can reach an annual capacity of 30 rockets. The acceleration of the rocket assembly process (the process of assembling components such as the rocket body structure, engines, and electrical systems into a complete launch vehicle) is the foundation for increasing launch frequency.

In terms of production organization, in the past a single rocket was often handled by one team from start to finish, but now different workstations can proceed in parallel. This adjustment has significantly improved assembly efficiency.

At present, the production mode of commercial rockets represented by Kinetica-1 is shifting from "production by mission" to advance stockpiling. The cycle from order receipt to launch can be compressed to within half a year.

Advanced manufacturing is driving commercial rockets to transform from mission-based delivery to more stable, large-scale space transportation services. Satellites are the "passengers" entering space, and rockets are the "vehicles" transporting the "passengers."

As the number of "passengers" increases, higher requirements are placed on the production capacity and delivery pace of the "vehicles." The mass production and routine launch of commercial rockets are becoming the main path to meeting this demand.
