High-grade gold-copper-silver mineralization intersected at the El Quevar project in Argentina
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 5, Argenta Silver announced the sixth batch of assay results from the 2025–2026 drilling program at the El Quevar project in Salta Province, Argentina. At the Carmen target, hole QVD-465 intersected 46 m of mineralization from 233 m depth, grading 0.45 g/t gold and 0.19% copper; this includes 4 m at 1.28 g/t gold, as well as 1 m at 1.71 g/t gold, 2.43% copper, and 100 g/t silver. This drilling has reduced the undrilled gap between the Yaxtché silver deposit and the Carmen gold-copper target to approximately 120 m.

In the northwest extension of Yaxtché, hole QVD-475 intersected 4 m of mineralization from 310 m depth, grading 1,599 g/t silver, including 2 m at 2,780 g/t silver; at a deeper interval in the same hole, 6 m was intersected grading 192 g/t silver, including 1 m at 484 g/t silver. In the southeast, hole QVD-479 intersected 9 m grading 122 g/t silver, including 1 m at 553 g/t silver. All of these holes are located outside the existing resource boundary.
Argenta Silver stated that this round of drilling has expanded the Yaxtché mineralization extent by approximately 20%–25% to the northwest and southeast relative to the current resource boundary. Since the current drilling program began on May 26, 2025, the company has completed 92 diamond drill holes for a cumulative advance of more than 27,500 m, and currently has two drill rigs respectively dedicated to resource expansion and new target exploration. The project has also carried out ground magnetic surveys covering more than 80 km².
In September of this year, the company also completed the relogging and supplementary sampling of 171 historical drill holes, obtaining a total of 4,372.6 m of previously unsampled core, mainly covering the Carmen, Mani, and Carolina areas of the Quevar South region as well as the Yaxtché deposit. Assay results have now been received for 85 historical drill holes, among which hole QVD-361 intersected 1 m grading 1,465 g/t silver; hole QVD-120 intersected 3 m grading 501 g/t silver, including 1 m at 1,270 g/t.
Yaxtché currently has an indicated resource of 2.93 million tonnes at an average silver grade of 482 g/t, containing 45.3 million ounces of silver; and an inferred resource of 310,000 tonnes at an average silver grade of 417 g/t, containing 4.1 million ounces of silver. Argenta Silver plans to incorporate the results of this new drilling round and the supplementary historical core data into the next mineral resource update, which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
