en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 7, the Habtoor Tower developed by UAE-based Dubai Habtoor Group completed the installation of the last glass curtain wall panel, marking new progress in the construction of the building's exterior envelope. The project is located in Habtoor City on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, with China Railway Construction Corporation's 18th Bureau Group serving as the general contractor, and is planned to include 1,740 residential units. The project previously completed the topping-out of the main structure and is currently continuing with interior fit-out, supporting facility construction, and preparations for phased delivery.

The Habtoor Tower completed its main structure topping-out in April 2026, when the owner announced that the building's main body had reached 86 floors and that subsequent construction would focus on the glass curtain wall, interior fit-out, and residential delivery. The project adopts a full glass curtain wall system, with double-curved concealed-frame glass curtain wall units on the north and south facades, and the building facade gradually forms a wave-shaped curve from the lower zone to the upper zone. The main steel structure was detailed, fabricated, and installed by China Construction Steel Structure Corp.

With this installation completed, the project's exterior glass curtain wall works have reached the completion milestone announced by the owner. Project data from the same period shows that the construction site has accumulated 20 million safe work hours without any lost-time injury accidents. Interior fit-out, public supporting facilities, and residential delivery are still underway, and the owner has not yet announced the final completion acceptance date for all residential units in this announcement.

According to the delivery schedule previously announced by Habtoor Group, the project adopts a phased delivery approach, with the first batch planned to deliver more than 1,300 residential units. The plan initially targeted the summer of 2026, but as of this curtain wall completion announcement, the actual delivery quantity and date of the first batch of residential units have not yet been confirmed.

The tower is located within the Habtoor City mixed-use development area, which already has three hotels, the La Perle aqua theater, and a commercial district in the surrounding area. The project's residential units will also be connected to the area's existing commercial, dining, and medical supporting facilities in the future.
