The project is expected to create 423 new jobs, with the investment scheduled to be completed by the end of 2030.

According to the disclosed investment plan, approximately $75 million will be used for plant construction and renovation, while another $20 million will be used to purchase production equipment and other fixed assets. Corvid Technologies was founded in 2004, and its business covers digital engineering, physical modeling and simulation, precision manufacturing, prototype development, and product testing. In July 2025, the company already opened a manufacturing plant of approximately 23,200 square meters in Mooresville, and this expansion will add manufacturing space on top of the existing production facilities.

Under the project's employment plan, the new positions include engineers, assemblers, electricians, production managers, and technicians, with an average annual salary expected to be $81,550 and total annual new payroll of approximately $34.5 million. The government of North Carolina has approved a performance grant program under which the company may receive up to approximately $4.45 million in grants over 12 years, based on the completion of investment and employment targets.
