en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 29, at the 2026 Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Summit, Tencent Cloud disclosed the latest deployment scale of its global computing infrastructure. It has now deployed more than 2 million servers worldwide and continues to advance the construction of overseas data centers. Dowson Tong, Senior Executive Vice President of Tencent and CEO of the Cloud and Smart Industries Group, introduced that over the past year, overseas artificial intelligence demand for Tencent Cloud achieved triple-digit growth, and the number of overseas active customers in its international business doubled.

Over the past year, Tencent Cloud added or expanded data centers in Frankfurt, Germany; Malaysia; Mexico; Osaka, Japan; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and Thailand. Its international business now covers more than 150 countries and regions, and it plans to continue expanding its cloud infrastructure footprint across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas in the coming year.

In its work adapting domestic artificial intelligence chips, Tencent Cloud and the Hunyuan team carried out performance optimization for the deployment of the Hy4 Preview model, increasing the single-card throughput of a certain domestic chip to 5 times the pre-optimization level two weeks before the model went live. Tencent Cloud also assisted a tier-one international automotive parts supplier in deploying a domestic thousand-card computing cluster for large-scale training of end-to-end intelligent driving large models.

Tencent Hunyuan's next-generation models Hy4 and Hy4 Flash are planned for release in the near future. Hy4 will build on the previous preview version by strengthening long-horizon task processing, real-world productivity tasks, and visual understanding capabilities; Hy4 Flash is positioned for low-cost, high-efficiency model application scenarios.
