en.Wedoany.com Reported - On November 3, UK logistics group Pall-Ex announced the appointment of Belgian logistics company De Vreese as its principal partner for the Benelux region. De Vreese will take over the regional network licence for Pall-Ex in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, and will be responsible for developing cross-border pallet freight business among the three countries and its connections with other Pall-Ex networks in Europe. The appointment will leverage De Vreese's existing transport and warehousing resources to expand Pall-Ex's regional distribution coverage in the Western European market.

Headquartered in Oudenaarde, Belgium, De Vreese is a family-run logistics company founded in 1977, with operations covering European road transport, warehousing, intermodal transport, sea freight and air freight. The company currently operates approximately 150 tractor units and 150 trailers, with a total warehousing area of about 35,000 square metres across two locations in Belgium and one in Poland, providing transport and warehousing support for regional and cross-border freight.

Under the partnership arrangement, De Vreese will be responsible for the operational development of the Pall-Ex Benelux network, coordinating pallet freight transport among Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, and connecting with Pall-Ex's distribution networks in other European markets. Under Pall-Ex's regional licence partnership model, the principal partner is responsible for network development in its region, coordination of local transport companies and organisation of pallet freight business, integrating local transport resources into the group's cross-border distribution system.

The appointment is part of Pall-Ex's continued expansion of its European freight network. Previously, Emons Logistics Group acquired the Pall-Ex Iberia business, and the Pall-Ex French network also opened a new modern distribution hub. By bringing in regional partners with local transport and warehousing resources, Pall-Ex continues to refine its European pallet freight network and expand cargo flow capacity between different countries.
