Wedoany.com Report-Jul. 26, Shell Catalysts & Technologies, a subsidiary of the UK-based energy company Shell, has formed a global alliance with France’s Technip Energies to develop an amine-based post-combustion carbon capture solution. The partnership integrates Shell’s CANSOLV CO2 Capture System with Technip Energies’ expertise in project integration and delivery to support decarbonization in industrial sectors.

The alliance leverages over ten years of joint experience, with two operational CANSOLV facilities and four additional projects, including Net Zero Teesside Power—a gas-fired power station with carbon capture and storage—reaching final investment decisions in the past 24 months. The partnership focuses on seamless project execution, from initial design to operational support, ensuring optimal performance for clients.
