Wedoany.com Report-Oct. 22, On October 20, XPENG officially moved into its new headquarters in Guangzhou’s Tianhe Smart City. Company founder He Xiaopeng marked the occasion on his Weibo account, writing: “Entrepreneurship often begins with a move, and each relocation marks a symbolic leap forward.”
The new XPENG campus is located on the eastern side of Keyun Road in Tianhe Smart City’s Cencun area and spans more than 500,000 square meters, with a total floor area of about 364,500 square meters. The land acquisition cost approximately 1.507 billion yuan, translating to a floor price of around 9,300 yuan per square meter. Inspired by XPENG’s signature “X” motif, the building features a sweeping glass façade, giving it a futuristic appearance that reflects the company’s identity as an innovative mobility brand.
The campus integrates core headquarters functions, including office, R&D, and exhibition facilities, alongside key automotive operations such as vehicle engineering, design review, and new model testing. It also includes a dedicated takeoff and landing pad for XPENG’s flying car division and an independent flagship retail store, highlighting the company’s focus on technological advancement.
Designed as a comprehensive ecosystem, the campus features an 80,000-square-meter park and a 20,000-square-meter mega canteen with 5,000 seats and more than 400 dining options. Additional amenities include cafés, supermarkets, a community medical center, barbershops, and gyms, creating a self-contained environment for both work and daily life.
Beyond Guangzhou, XPENG plans to upgrade and expand all of its offices nationwide, covering key cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Wuhan. The new headquarters is part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its operational capabilities and support rapid growth.
The relocation comes amid a strong growth trajectory for XPENG. In September 2025, the company delivered 41,581 smart EVs, up 95% year-on-year and 10% month-on-month, surpassing the symbolic 40,000-unit monthly threshold. For the third quarter, deliveries totaled 116,007 vehicles, a 149% year-on-year increase. Cumulatively, XPENG delivered 313,196 units in the first nine months of 2025, representing a 218% surge compared to the same period last year.
