The achievement establishes a strong technical base for advancing digital transformation and supporting emerging technologies including 5.5G, cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence.

Conducted by e& UAE’s technical team, the trial validated a complete IP+DWDM dual-800GE solution over the company’s live EMIX production core network. EMIX, operated by e& UAE, functions as a key regional gateway providing IP transit services to internet service providers across the Middle East.

Results confirmed high-quality 800GE transmission, significantly lower IP packet latency, and improved cost per bit. The solution integrates artificial intelligence capabilities for traffic prediction and dynamic energy-saving adjustments based on real-time demand patterns, resulting in a more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly network.

The combination of 800GE capacity and AI-driven management creates a solid platform for future AI-enabled wide-area networks.
